Scarab sides d9 (chip carved, fore leg notched) are most often attested on steatite 13th Dynasty scarabs up to the reign of Sobekhotep IV. However, they do occasionally occur on 12th Dynasty and late 13th Dynasty scarabs. They never occur under the 14th-15th Dynasty.
